Do I need a reservation in order to visit?

  • To visit The Farm, YES. You need to book your spot in one of our Cacao Walking Tours. Tour dates are available 2 to 3 months in advance. No walk-ins are accepted.

  • To visit Ancestral, you DO NOT need a reservation. Walk-ins are welcomed between 11am and 6pm, Wednesday thru Saturday. However, for large parties 10+ we recommend calling or writing in advance to ensure a table is available.

Where is Hacienda Chocolat located?

  • The Farm is located in Bo. Naranjo, Fajardo. Exact location for parking is provided in your reservation confirmation email. 

  • Ancestral is located in Bo. Carola, Rio Grande. Click for location

How can I book a private event? 

You can send an email to admin@haciendachocolat.com with details (date, party size, type of event, location) to inquire about date and event availability. For The Farm, please keep in mind that we manage a minimum of 25 participants (or price equivalent) and a maximum of 40 participants. There is no school bus or charter bus access. There is no restaurant at The Farm. 

How long is the Cacao Walking Tour?

The experience as a whole is around 2 hours - from pick-up to drop-off. The walking portion of the tour fluctuates between 35 and 45 min depending on the group. The walk is slow-paced with multiple stops.

Is Hacienda Chocolat a restaurant?

No, Hacienda Chocolat The Farm nor Ancestral are restaurants. During Cacao Walking Tours you are given a snack. In Ancestral by Hacienda Chocolat, we offer tapas or pastries to accompany your cocktails, chocolate, and coffee.
