​Difficult to grow and even harder to produce, chocolate has been a beloved treat for centuries, but its production is often mired in controversy. Elena Besser heads out to visit two women breaking the mold when it comes to cocoa. In Puerto Rico, cacao farmer Yadira Vázquez operates one of the island’s only bean-to-bar facilities.
